ENCOURAGING WORDS FROM AN APPRECIATIVE NEIGHBOR originally from Slovakia
“There is a Philippine church in my neighborhood. It’s on the corner of Pritchard & Sgt. Tommy Prince in Winnipeg North End. It’s congregation is very involved in the community. Today, it’s members were raking leaves all over the neighborhood, bagged them and carted them away. I have talked to Pastor Victor, who came to Canada a few months ago to be the pastor in this church. Most friendly person. We are lucky to have such wonderful people in our community. If you are interested, the church offers sermons in Tagalog and English each Sunday.”
